Log in to your Facebook and navigate to the Facebook Ads Manager.
Now navigate to Ads Manager menu at the top left bar and click Pixels under Assets.
Now creating a pixel is just a 3 step procedure; Creating the pixel, Installing the code, and Choosing the action (Add Events).
Creating Pixel: Click “Create a pixel” button and give a name to your pixel, agree to the Facebook pixels term and click “Create Pixel” button. You will see a success message with a unique pixel ID.
Once you are done creating Facebook pixels, you have two choices; Install Pixels and Email Pixel Code. You can choose any one of these to get the pixel code.
Installing the Code: Now click “Install Pixels Now”. Now you are directed to a new window “View pixel base code”. Now copy the Install pixel base code and copy it to WordPress.
Choosing Actions (Add Events): Here you have different event codes that you can add to your pages where conversion occurs on your website.
To install Facebook tracking pixels, now you need to install a WordPress plugin that can contain code for Facebook tracking pixels.
For that, we need to install the “Insert Header and Footer” plugin. To install “Insert Header and Footer plugin”, navigate to add new plugin under plugin section.
Plugin > Add New
Now search for “Insert Header and footer” plugin in the search bar and press the “Install Now” button to install the plugin.
Once installed, activate the plugin.
After installing and activating the “Insert Header and Footer” plugin, navigate to the Header and Footer plugin where we need to copy the Facebook tracking pixel code.
